Have you discovered the difference between posts and pages?http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
By the way, the pictures in your sidebar image widget are not showing.

The problem might be the capital letters in the name, or in the JPG format rather than jpg. -
Thats sorted the pics out 1tess, thanks. :-)
So I can only post on my front page?
Thanks for that, been a great help.

That’s right: there is only one posting page. That is how nearly all blogs are set up. If you looke at Blogger, there is only one posting page and an unformatted “about” page, so with WordPress, the static pages are an extra bonus.
If you want to post on different topics use categories on each post. I don’t know what exact categories you would want, but let’s say you will post about “chains” “silver” “gold” and “rings.” One post could be about “chains” and “silver,” another about “rings” and “silver,” and another about “rings” and “gold,” and so on.
When a reader is interested in “silver” he will choose that category and be able to read a “page” with only posts which are categorized as “silver.” (Or any of your others categories). Note that each post can belong to several categories.
As you add posts to your categories, the category “page” will automatically update to include new posts in that category. Very useful because the only thing you have to do is to assign categories and wp does all the work for you!
Here is detailed info about categories:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-categories/
(this page does not show the power of categories, but only how to assign them)Tags are similar to categories. Categories are major classifications of your posts. Tags help readers and search engines find details: maybe like “lost wax rings” or “pounded wire chains” ( obviously I don’t know the terms you’d use but I hope you get the idea?)

Oh, and your blogroll-links to sites you like (blogroll widget) can also be “categorized” but that is not the same as categories on posts.
For readers to find your categories, use a categories widget.

I did have them, I’ve just put the page in “A Description Of Tools” the properties from the source are JPG, I have tried to edit them within wordpress, but they show as jpg, they are from http://www.evernote.com

Looked at your source code. You still have “180248AA” in the link to the “knocking the ring” pic. Capital letters in code can be a problem.
Rename your pic with a (lowercase) human language rather than numbers and letters; that will make it much easier to find pictures in your media library as well.

Sorry, we are sort of talking over each other. I am not familiar with evermote.com.
It’s usually best to edit your pictures on your own computer, to size, then upload them to your media library, though lots of folk use flickr or photobucket. Could it be the https link is from evermote.com? I’m not sure. Maybe start a new thread about the picture issue? But study the info in this thread about posts, pages, categories and tags. It really will set you on a good way to organize your blog.
