Creating new, shared blog
-
I am trying to set up a new blog that I will share with a committee of authors. However, I don’t want them being able to access my other blog. I chose a blog name for the new (shared) blog. Can I now set it up with a different log in and password?
Thanks! -
you should be able to put people as editors or authors of this new blog.
They can access this blog with their own wordpress.com accounts (each with their own password.
they will not be able to access the dash of any other blog on your account,(unless you make them authors of that blog). -
This is done by going to your dashboard of the Blog your a creating
on the top right you will see “users”
put in their E-mail
and put in their “role”Special note: if you set anybody elses “role” as “administrator” you give them full control of the Blog. Which means, anyone with the role as “administrator” could delete the blog., for example

keppie – all of your blogs (those registered under you username) will show up in your dashboard. each author, though, will have their own dashboard, not yours. So they won’t be able to access your blog.
When you add users, you are going to want to be careful about their roles. Here is the FAQ on the different roles. http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/12/what-are-the-different-roles/
