creating new site

I have a Mr Site website which is going to be closed down at the end of the month. They have said that if I use WordPress TSO hosting then I can get one year complementary hosting. Firstly is this true, and if so how do I go about creating a new website using WordPress. I already have an account with WordPress but when I tried to product code issued if failed to recognise it. I need the new site to be mobile friendly and up by the 30th of June when Mr Site closed down. If you could let me if any of this is possible I would be grateful

it seems that what you’re referring to is https://www.tsohost.com/ – it’s a hosting company where you can host a site created with the open-source WordPress software.
If you decide to move your site there, you will want to contact them for more information.
To clear up any further confusion, there is WordPress.com and WordPress.org and they are two different entities.
We, WordPress.com are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites, whereas WordPress.org is a stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting.
