Creating new website

  I am trying to create a website for my small business. I have already registered my domain and hosting package with Afrihost.
  I want to create a website using WordPress transfer it across to them to host. How do I do that? What costs are involved.
  I seem to find your site confusing with respect to how Afrihost can host my site.
  I am useless with terminology!

  Hi there!

  Sites built here on WordPress.com are hosted here, so they don’t directly move over to another host that way. This is WordPress.com, while the other WordPress you would use on another host is ofter referred to as self-hosted WordPress. Explained here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  If you install WordPress at your new host, and have a site here you want to move to another host, it is possible to export your content (pages, posts) and import it into the new site.

  However, it sounds like you don’t have an existing site here with content that needs to move, so your best bet would be to install WordPress at your host, and setup your site there.
