Creating New WP site, cannot change web address, and it's wrong. Not trying for premium.

  Hi. So, I am in the midst of creating a new WP site, and it has put the site address as theliterarylibrariancom.wordpress.com, but that’s not what it showed when I first accepted the blog site address. That ‘com’ before the dot shouldn’t be there. But when I go into the dashboard and try to change it, it says the address I want is reserved. Now, I CHECKED via google search before I chose the name of my site, and that name should NOT be reserved. Please help!

  Goggle would not know what WordPress.com might have reserved, so the question you might never get answered here would be about who might have it in (or might have caused to go into) a reserved state here. It is easy for me to believe that might have happened while you were setting things up, and hopefully someone here both can and will help you sort that out.
