Creating pages, but not wanting them to show up at the top

So, I’m creating pages — you can see my site here, where I currently have three pages:

    http://royalpratt.com

“Home,” “Backstory” for the blog, and “Reach out.”

I’m creating a photo gallery for the front page of my clips (the home page), where you click a photo and it takes you to a new page where you can read a little about the story (then click a link to visit the published piece).

But I don’t want those pages to show up at the top — you know, where “Backstory” and those are. I’ve ccurrently created a few and have set them to private, but when I hit “public” and publish, I don’t want them to be at the top. I don’t want a busy top of the page.

Help? I hope I’m clear enough.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Use a Custom Menu. Then you can put in only the links you want.
