Creating Post Teasers Excerpts in Adelle

  Hi all,

  I am trying to make my blog have short teasers on the home page and have the first post as an excerpt. I am trying to figure out a way to edit it in custom design but can’t figure out how to do this! Does anyone know how to make this happen?

  Hi there,

  The best way to create teasers like that is probably with the More Tag, rather than trying to do it with custom design. (The features in custom design can customize how your theme looks, but they can’t necessarily change what content appears on the page.)

  With the more tag, anything you write before the tag will appear on the home page, and visitors can click through to read the rest of the post. Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)
