Creating Private Discussion Groups in WordPress.com

  Is this possible?

  I created another wordpress.com site that I wanted to use as a private discussion group. I selected to “make my site private” in the settings but I don’t know if what I want to do is possible here, or what else I need to do to make this happen?

  Is there only one login username and password that I would share with those I invite to the group? Or do people make their own login usernames and passwords?

  I have never tried to do anything like this before anywhere on the internet so I really do not know what is involved or how to go about doing it. Can what I want to do be done on wordpress.com and what do I need to do?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
