  I am having difficulty in having clearly defined quote thingo majigos!
  I thought i was supposed to use – <q> </q> but it isnt working

  You can change text color and size:
  `YOUR TEXT HERE</span></span>

  Or change background and text colors:
  <div style="background-color:#333366;text-align:center;"><span style="color:#99cc66;"><span style="color:#ffffff;">YOUR TEXT HERE</span></span></div>

  You don’t need all that. Also, the second span (bg #fff) will override the first (bg #9c6).

  This should do the same with less code:

  <span style="background: #ff0; color:#000;">YOUR TEXT HERE</span>

  If the style attribute is removed from the “span” tags, replace “span” with “div”
