Creating services section in front page

I’m trying to get everything right with this theme and love it so far but have had maddening problems with this one thing. I’m trying to create a section (I’ve been doing it in a new page) to be a part of the front page template that will have three images across with a small amount of text below each of them. I then want them to collapse to one column on smaller screens. I want the background to be blank but haven’t even started on figuring out how to do that. I’ve tried doing this in a child theme but none of the css changes I make seem to be changing the style at all even with the !important identifier.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there, Harmonic has a guide to setting up its distinctive front page, in case you haven’t seen it:

I want the background to be blank

Harmonic requires a background image for each section for technical reasons, which is why default background images will always be displayed unless you upload your own. To fake a solid colour background, you could always create a small solid-coloured image and let that tile as the background for your section.

I’ve tried doing this in a child theme
