Creating Social Media Icons Using CSS
-
Hello,
I was wondering if someone to help me out. About a month or so ago I needed some help using a theme, where a lovely wordpress helper called “ehtis” gave me the following code, that created these gorgeously transparent social media icons in red. The code is:-
.genericon-facebook::before, .genericon-twitter::before, .genericon-instagram::before, .genericon-youtube::before { font-size: 180%; }I was using the “Hero” theme back then, however, recently I changed it to the Dyad theme. I tried adding the above code on the new theme, unfortunately it didn’t work. I was working if someone could help me out with the above code – in either red or green. I know the other way I could add the icons is though using the text widget. But this looked so great. Any help will be much appreciated.
