Creating Static Page in Settings>Reading

  I am trying to get the homepage slider to work. I’ve created the “home” page, set it to the home page template, created six pages with featured images. Under “settings >reading” I’m trying to set the home page to static but see no option there to do so. What am I missing? Thanks…

  My apologies… I had the pages set to private and when I changed them to public the option appeared. Thanks
