Creating the blog

Hi. I’m sorry, but I am a complete novice to this. I am trying to create the most basic of blogs. All I want to do is put a couple of photos on my home page, and then add a bunch of daily posts. But I can’t even figure out how to get past step one. I managed to update my profile, but when trying to customize my menu, I’m not seeing how anything is being added to the WordPress template. I was able to display my site name and description under the name, but can’t seem to upload the first picture. Is there a place I can go that will give me the most basic steps in how to create this blog–just walk me through step by step? After I get it set up, I won’t have any problem updating, etc., I don’t think. I just have to get it set up.

I would recommend using this guide that will teach you how to use WordPress and create your blog.
WordPress also offers webinars that help to learn how to use WordPress. I would recommend the webinars named Quick Start blogging.
