Creating two blog pages

    I was trying to create a separate blog category to highlight a specific focus, creating two blog pages on one WordPress website. I have successfully created the categories and organized them on the website, but my issue is that when I publish a post to a certain category, it also shows up under the general blog menu, therefore now appearing in two different places on the website. Is there a way to fix this? So that it only shows up in one place on the website, under the specific category of which it is assigned?

    There isn’t anyway to exclude posts from the main posts page at wordpress.com…

    The topic is over five years old, but I believe this is still the case.
