Credit card charged – But card not setup as payment method

    Hi. A charge of 99 dollars has been made on 16 June against my Visa card (ending 5212) for renewal of a premium plan in relation to the above mentioned site. Please explain how this charge was made against my card when my account ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) does not show any billing methods registered or setup, and does not have my Credit Card details registered. Please clarify where exactly my card details are registered as a payment method. In addition I am no longer responsible for managing this site as it has been moved to different platform and a wordpress premium plan is no longer required. Please clarify what refund if any can be arranged for this unauthorised charge against my card.

    Howdy,

    I’m seeing a refund as having been processed for that charge as of today 2022-05-17 . So you should be all set. Please keep in mind that while many refunds show up withing 24-48 hours, it is not unusual for them to take up to 7-10 days. And in rare cases, typically with non USA banks, even longer.
