Credit Card Charges for ???

  Recently, my credit card was charged $99 for web hosting and DES. I have no idea what this charge is for (though wonder if it may be related to a past employer?). I have visited my WordPress profile and looked at billing invoices, of which there are none. I have a transaction reference number and need to speak with someone about reversing these charges. Thank you.

  Hi,
  What does it say on the credit card charge? Does it say the charge was from WordPress.com? Also do check out if you have any upgrades with WordPress.com for which you might be charged. You can access your upgrades from here https://wordpress.com/my-upgrades/. If you don’t find anything, most likely it is not from WordPress.com

  I have also marked this thread for a staff to look into, Please be patient while one of them gets back.

  To answer your question: yes, the charge is from WPCHRG.com DBA WordPress.com

  Appreciate you marking the thread for staff to look into. I cannot find a billing or accounts number to call to resolve this issue on the merchant end – which is preferable to denying the charges with my credit card company.

  Nothing (upgrades, etc.) appears in my profile.
