Credit card declined

I have tried several times to upgrade to a premium package and it tells me my credit card is declined. We’ve contact the credit card company and these charges should go through with out a problem. Please help!

Hi there!
There may be a number of reasons why you could be getting an error while making a credit card payment, and it could be one or more of the following:
* Credit Card hasn’t been activated yet
* Closed credit card account
* Account is over the limit
* Account is past due
* Automated fraud alertThe last one is the most common, and a quick call to your bank telling them about your purchase on WordPress.com should sort out the problem. Please try that first and see if you’re able to pay with your credit card. You may also pay using a debit card with the Mastercard or Visa logo on it. If you’re using Paypal funds, make sure that you have enough funds to cover the cost of the upgrade.

Thanks, I ended up using a different credit card, not that I wanted to, but I really needed to get this site going and customized. I do have another question. I originally looked at using the Twenty-Ten theme but switched over to the Twenty Eleven theme instead. I can’t seem to make it switch from a one column layout to a two column layout. Everything seems to be configured properly. Any suggestions?

The primary feature of the Twenty Eleven theme is that there is no sidebar when post titles are clicked and posts are displayed on their own pages. See here:

Then why does it show under Appearance/Theme Options the different theme layouts, right sidebar/left sidebar/one column?

The answer is because it has multiple layout options including custom a Showcase Page Template.
