Credit Card Detail Update

    My anniversary automatic renewal is upcoming in 30 days. I need to update the details on my Credit Card Information to allow the renewal to happen. Please help me update this information.

    HI Macmanx,

    I am talking about the original account—-the one I established and then spawned two others. This original account has a domain name and anyone can just type in the URL and get to the page.

    I have been automatically renewing my subscription for the domain name over several years now. This time, I have a new card number and I think I need to update my records with you so that I can continue to have autorenew set up.

  • Hi Freda, thank you! Do you have any renewal emails?

    If so, can you log out, then log back in with that email address? That should help you get to the right account, then you can renew here:
    https://wordpress.com/me/purchases

    If not, can you log out and try logging in with the address you initially used to create the site? We do have account recovery options if needed.

    Hi supernovia! That was my problem!!!! When I logged into the account (“everylittlethingplease”) the note that I dropped to the moderator (employee) came from my other address (“sylviarichardartistsylviafreyartist”)

    I have several “pages” and one personal domain name–which I pay to WordPress to support. This is my recurring cost, which I have set up an auto-matic pay option. And it only refers to, is applied to, “everylittlethingplease.” However, my credit card information has changed, and I wrote an email originally to update the information…. but I have not been able to contact anyone.

    Since that last time I wrote. I went through my own url and emailed from within my webpage. However, I replied to the email that was sent to my gmail, and I am hoping that that email can get the ball rolling.

    Hi there!

    We checked our records to see if we received an email from the email address you used on your other account, but we aren’t seeing one. That means you might have emailed us from a different email address than the one you used on your other account.

    At this point, I suggest going through our account recovery procedure as mentioned here: https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/

    Please locate a transaction ID for any of your prior payments to WordPress.com (here’s how to locate it on your credit card statement) and send that to us using the account recovery form here: https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/#account-recovery-form

    Please do not post the transaction ID on this forum.

    Once you’ve sent the transaction ID to us using the account recovery form, we’ll get back to you via email to help you log in to the correct account.
