Credit card processing doesn't work

  Credit card processing doesn’t work. I’ve entered the information; it clears the system. Then I try to renew or set up autorenew, and I’m prompted to enter it again. I cleared everything, closed browser, etc. No dice. Weird script when I tried again. Very frustrating.

  Hi there, sorry for the trouble. It look like your card was blocked from being updated for security reasons, because of too many attempts at modifying the information. I’ve cleared that block – would you mind trying again?

  Of course there are too many attempts. I attempted A LOT because of the “unknown errors” etc etc. This time around, I have a screen shot this time of the error I received. I tried Chrome and Safari and two different credit cards. My sites will expire eventually, or I will, from exhaustion. I’d embed an image for you to see if I could. Let me know if you want the SS. I’ve been locked out again, FYI. The text reads: “Error Authorizing Credit Cards. Please contact WordPress.com Support.” This is the error I received after three attempts, in two different browsers, to enter my CC info. Thanks for any help.

  Hi there! I’m following up with you as @kathrynwp is out today.

  I reset the block again. Also, please upload your screenshot to your katieroseguestpryal.com media library and I will be able to take a look at the error you’re receiving.

  I did a little research and sometimes this error comes up when the expiration date on the credit card is prior to or close to the renewal date of the domain. Can you confirm the expiration date on your card is on or after February 2014? If it expires before that, that might explain the issue.

  Alternatively, if you have a credit card saved, under Users > Personal Settings > Account Details you will be able to find “Stored Credit Card Details” and change or remove it. Finally, you can always manually renew the domain if you choose. We send you numerous reminders via email prior to the expiration date so that could also work for you.
