credit cards via Simple Payments

I would like to setup a site for a few items to be purchased. Our organization has a paypal account but I was wondering if users/customers who do not have paypal accounts would be able to purchase our items via our website? Our budget is very limited and we are considering the premium membership plan. Would this be possible?

    Hello @fronterafarmers,

Our organization has a paypal account but I was wondering if users/customers who do not have paypal accounts would be able to purchase our items via our website?

    Yes, they can.

An excerpt from the Collecting Payments Support page below should answer your question more in detail:

When a visitor to your site clicks the pay with PayPal button on any of your Simple Payment buttons, a new window will open that will take them through the PayPal checkout. They will have the option to pay you from their PayPal account using PayPal funds or a credit card. If they are logged into PayPal and have access to PayPal Credit as a payment method they’ll also see the PayPal Credit button.

If you have a Business PayPal account, they will have the option to simply use a credit or debit card to complete the purchase without having a PayPal account.

You can read more about the possibilities & limitations of Simple Payments using the link below:

Hope this was of help. All the best.

    Hello @janiesjourney420,

I am not sure what your question means. Could you please create a new thread here and post your question more in detail?

It is best practiced to keep your questions separate from existing forum threads to avoid confusions and hindered response time.

Look forward to helping you with your concern.
