Critical error
-
I have a critical error on my site and have for quite some time. I believe someone else got into my site and did this. I was finally able to get this far today after almost a year of not having any access at all. I really don’t think a public forum will help. I’d rather be asking someone from the company that I paid to host my blog answer me, only because I think I’m going to get a bunch of technical answers I don’t understand or know what to do with them. But I shall try. There are only two emails linked to my blog. I paid for another year last year and have not been able to use it. Can you help me fix it? The message tells me I have a critical error. But I need step by step directions.
Thank you,

Oh, that’s awful I’m sorry that happened to you. I do think you shouldn’t fear asking for support though. I looked up your site and although it’s built with WordPress it’s not hosted with WordPress.com, but with Bluehost.
Please try reaching out to their support at bluehost.com/support

Hello,
I have verified that your site is not hosted on WordPress.com. It is hosted by Blue Host. So, you use the self-hosted version of WorPress.org.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org sites are different. Check it out: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org
This forum is only focused on sites hosted on WordPress.com.
Maybe this information can help, but it’s pretty technical:
https://wordpress.org/support/article/faq-troubleshooting/The best solution is to contact your host directly to report the issue.
The WordPress.org community forums can be a great place to ask for help with this:

Thank you both of you. I did not even realize that. I think I did 2 years ago when I made it but not since then. I appreciate your help. I really do.
