Critical Error
-
We are a public school band that utilizes WordPress to manage content on our domain http://www.lehmanband.org. Today, I was logged in to make some minor updates on there and my WP Admin Menu said that some plugins needed to be updated. I clicked to update, it loaded a new page to say that updates had been installed, then when I tried to go back to the main page, it brought up a page that said ‘There has been a critical error on this website.’
I cannot access my WP Admin side for this website anymore, so I’m not even sure where to begin trying to fix this issue and I am also not very web-savvy. This website was originally built by one of our staff members who has since left for another school. Any help you can provide to restore the page to the functional status it had mere hours ago would be greatly appreciated.

Go to the admin files
Find your domain folder
wp-content folder
Find the plugins folder and rename it to “plugins.hold”
Try to open your page and see if works, if it did then go back to the files and rename the plugins folder to “plugins”
Hope it helps
