Hello, I’m in big trouble with wordpress.
I don’t know what I did, but I continuously get this message when I try to enter my website, and I can’t enter it!

There has been a critical error on this website. For instructions, please see the emails received by the site administrator.

    Site: https://castnet.dcat.nycu.edu.tw/

This is the address of my database: https://castnet.dcat.nycu.edu.tw/_pma/index.php?route=/sql&server=1&db=149647060&table=wp_termmeta&pos=0

Please, I do not know how to repair this error.

    Thank you so much.

  • Hello there,

It looks like this site is on the business plan, which means you can get real time support for this site in real time via https://wordpress.com/help/contact

It looks like there was no theme active on this site, so I’ve activated one. I also noticed that Jetpack was deactivated too, which is essential to run on WordPress.com. This has also been re-activated.

Has a recent migration of the site using All in One WP Migrate taken place?

Thank you so much! I can edit my site again.

Actually I’ve sent messages to the real time supports, but haven’t received any resolution yet.

The site was just created recently and haven’t been migrated. Dose All in One WP Migrate have something to do with this error?

I’m sorry, I just activated the theme called “Morden”(https://mordendemo.wordpress.com) on this site, and then the same problem appeared again.

So is there any thing wrong with this theme?
Please help me to repair the error again. Thanks!

  • Hello there,

The site was just created recently and haven’t been migrated. Dose All in One WP Migrate have something to do with this error?

It’s unusual for Jetpack to be activated and a WordPress.com theme to cause critical issues.

A tell tale sign that has been worked on outside of WordPress.com is the use of All in One WP Migrate.

The site was just created recently and haven’t been migrated.

To check, where was the site originally built?

I’m sorry, I just activated the theme called “Morden”(https://mordendemo.wordpress.com) on this site, and then the same problem appeared again.

It looks like a theme called Modern (not Morden) was activated. Where was “Modern” obtained exactly?

I’ve just activated Morden on the site to clear the error.
