I need to deactivate Jetpack, but can’t get into my site due to a ‘critical error’- the site is currently down

Sorry to hear it! If the site isn’t hosted with us, we most likely can’t help much. But here are a few ideas:
– You should have an email. If you don’t, ask your host to see if the email is stuck on their server
– Ask your host to check error logs
– If this happened with a recent theme or plugin update or install, you can manually remove one like so (especially if it’s mentioned in errors):
