critical error–cannot even sign in

    Appeared suddenly, perhaps because i had earlier cancelled the domain sayingsofthepreachers.org or joyofscience.org, which I was no longer using but I was apparently using to login. Can I restore the site to another login? Today I disabled jetpack as per instructions on troubleshooting. I would need to restore it. I was planning to accept updates after our meeting in the first week of July.

    Hi there!

    Before we begin, I need to clarify that there are three different “WordPress” at play here:

    1. The free, open-source WordPress software which powers your website.
    2. WordPress.org which is the open-source project that works on the WordPress software and where you can get the software for free to use on your own hosting provider.
    3. WordPress.com which is a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software and with whom you’re contacting now.

    I’m not showing that either sayingsofthepreachers.org or joyofscience.org were ever registered with or hosted here at WordPress.com, so we’re limited to what we can assist with here.

    Can you let us know what URL you’re trying to log into? Once we have that information, we’ll be better able to advise.
