    Hi,

Received an email of a critical error on my website regarding the Theme I use. I can’t get access to anything so don’t know how to resolve this. Link to site here and email attached below.

    Howdy!

Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with your theme, Fluxus.

First, visit your website (http://www.rajeevthakker.com/wp/) and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (http://www.rajeevthakker.com/wp/wp//wp-login.php) and check for any visible issues.

Please contact your host for assistance with investigating this issue further.

If your site appears broken and you can’t access your dashboard normally, WordPress now has a special ‘recovery mode’. This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further.

To keep your site safe, this link will expire in 1 day. Don’t worry about that, though: a new link will be emailed to you if the error occurs again after it expires.

When seeking help with this issue, you may be asked for some of the following information:
    WordPress version 5.9.1
    Current theme: Fluxus (version 1.4.5)
    Current plugin: (version )
    PHP version 8.0.16

    Error Details

  • Hi there,

To get help with that please post in the WordPress.org support forums:

    https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

The forum you have posted is for the WordPress.com hosting platform which is different than the WordPress software that your site is using. You can learn more about these differences here:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

    Hi there,

It seems there is a problem with the theme you have installed.

I will recommend switching to a different theme (steps given in the link mentioned below) and checking if the error persists.

  • @amiteshg93, the support doc you linked is specific to WordPress.com, but the OP is not using our services.

To determine whether a site is hosted on WordPress.com, add .well-known/hosting-provider to the end of the site URL. This may not work with all hosts, but it will work on WordPress.com.
