Hi there!
I was able to view your site at https://joemeeksociety.wordpress.com without any issues. Are you referring to a different site that’s showing you a critical error? If yes, please share the link to the site so that we can check and point you in the right direction.

Hi there,
Apologies, but we can’t help with your issue directly because we don’t host joemeeksociety.org on our WordPress.com managed hosting.
To explain, we are a fully managed hosting provider and use a custom server environment that is optimized for WordPress, provides built-in security and performance improvements, as well as in-house support for your site questions.
Because of the way we’ve optimized our service, we also use a customized version of WordPress that is different (under the hood) from what you use at your current provider. As a result, we do not have access to your site and are not familiar with the source of your issue.
You definitely have the option to move your site to us so we can provide in-house help, but as it stands now, we cannot help since it is hosted elsewhere.
The good news is that help is available here at the open-source WordPress forums: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting
Typically a critical error message can result from a plugin (or theme) conflict, but once the offending plugin is turned off the site is restored to normal The folks in that forum are more familiar with these kinds of issues and are in the best position to help walk you through how to troubleshoot that. Thanks!

You are definitely welcome to move to us however, where you can benefit from the in-house support we provide to all sites on our managed hosting. To do that you can add our migration plugin to your site: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpcom-migration/
In this case, due to the error you are experiencing on your site, you may not have the ability to install new plugins. You can get around this by deactivating all plugins on your site as explained here. In most cases this is sufficient to allow you to log in to the site and install the migration plugin.
Once the site is transferred you can reactivate your plugins one at a time until the issue reoccurs. When it does, you can contact our support (with live chat option) then let us know the name of the last plugin you activated and we will be able to take a closer look from there.
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

Hi there,
I see you have asked about joemeeksociety.org previously, so I merged your new question into this existing thread to avoid any confusioni
As mentioned previously,
Hi there,
Apologies, but we can’t help with your issue directly because we don’t host joemeeksociety.org on our WordPress.com managed hosting.
To explain, we are a fully managed hosting provider and use a custom server environment that is optimized for WordPress, provides built-in security and performance improvements, as well as in-house support for your site questions. You can learn more about the performance and security benefits of our managed hosting here: https://wordpress.com/hosting/
Because of the way we’ve optimized our service, we also use a customized version of WordPress that is different (under the hood) from what you use at Heart Internet website hosting. As a result, we do not have access to your site and are not familiar with the source of your issue.
Once you regain access, you definitely have the option to move your site to us so we can provide in-house help, and we offer a migration plugin that will help you move your site to our managed hosting in just a few clicks.
The Move to WordPress.com plugin allows you to start migrating a self-hosted WordPress site to WordPress.com directly from the self-hosted site. Prerequisites The Move to WordPress.com plugin installed on your self-hosted WordPress site. Jetpack version 7.9 or higher activated on the self-hosted site. All incompatible plugins deactivated on the self-hosted site. ✅ ThUnfortunately though, as it stands now, we are not able to help since it is hosted elsewhere. The good news is that as long as you have access to the server control panel through Heart Internet website hosting, it is always possible to regain access to your self-hosted WordPress site. This WordPress.org support article will walk you through it: https://wordpress.org/support/article/resetting-your-password/
You can ask Heart Internet website hosting for direct assistance in completing the steps in that article; they would be in the best position to help.
