Critical error message, locked out of backend

Clicked ‘edit page’ on my WordPress Woocommerce site this morning and got a white screen with error message: ‘There has been a critical error on this website.’ – then went into backend and bulk deactivated all plugins, planning to reactivate them one by one to see if one of the plugins was causing the issue – was then locked out of backend and am receiving the same error message when I try to access it.

  • Hello,

I have verified that your site is not hosted on WordPress.com. In this case, you use the self-hosted version, the software of which is available on WordPress.org.

WordPress.com and WordPress.org sites are different. Check it out: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org

This forum is only focused on sites hosted on WordPress.com.

Please contact support for the WooCommerce plugin directly for help with this.https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/

WordPress.org community forums can be a good place to ask for help with this:http://wordpress.org/support/forums

    I hope that helps!
