  Critical errors are frustrating and determining the cause can be equally so. Let’s see if we can’t help you resolve this.

  When you did the update for your plugins, did you do them individually or did you click the update all button? The problem can sometimes be one or more plugins.

  Please take a look at this article about Managing Plugins and there is a section at the bottom titled Identifying Plugin or Theme Conflicts. I’ve included the link here below.
