I cannot currently access my site’s dashboard or admin page in any way. Whenever I attempt to access the site it simply says that a critical error has occurred. Furthermore, whenever I check my WordPress account it says that jetpack can’t communicate with my site. From my research and limited understanding of how all of this works it seems that either I have a conflicting plug-in that I am unable to remove at all, or In attempting to add another admin account to my site I have not fully completed that process and as such I do not have admin privileges on either account. I cannot access my site logs either. I don’t really know how these forums work but hopefully someone can help me.

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

Samuel, I completely understand the urgency behind your request. You’ve reached WordPress.com forums, however, your site (https://samuelwoodman.art/) is not hosted on WordPress.com. It’s a WordPress.org site hosted at Ovh. You can check and confirm this here: https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/samuelwoodman.art

Since your site is not hosted with us, we are unable to provide support for it. To get help, please either contact your web hosting customer support or submit your query to WordPress.org forums.

    • Here is the link to contact Ovh support: https://us.ovhcloud.com/support/
    • Here is the link to forums: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

These critical errors usually come from outdated or recently updated plugins/themes or due to conflict between plugins or themes, and hopefully, your hosting provider might be able to help you with it.

If you are not already aware, please note that there are two versions of WordPress – WordPress.com and WordPress.org. You can learn more about it here: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

If you want to switch to WordPress.com and receive our 24/7 customer support for your site, our team of experts can handle the migration for you, while your live site remains unaffected, at no cost and with 50% off your first year on our Business plan (https://wordpress.com/support/plan-features/business-plan/).

Here’s a detailed guide on migrating site to WordPress.com: https://wordpress.com/support/import/import-an-entire-wordpress-site/

Do let us know if you are interested in the migration and I hope this was helpful!
