Critical error on website
-
Dear WordPress team, there’s a message that appears whenever I try to edit or even visit my site ‘There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.’ I have gotten this message before and was able to fix my site, or at least I thought so. I have not received an email the second time. The first time, it said that the Woo Commerce Membership plugin was the issue.

Hi there,
I checked your site and it appears that it is hosted with Go Daddy and is using the open-source WordPress.org software and you need to seek help at these forums:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
These forums are for WordPress.com-hosted sites only. Since we do not have access to self-hosted WordPress.org sites, we are unable to provide any direct assistance to your issue. I would also reach out to your site host for help.
If you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org you can read this document:
Thanks!

I tried to get in contact with WordPress.org to no avail. I was unable to contact support. What should I do?

Hi there,
How did you contacted WordPress.org? You need to create an account and post in the support forums. There, the community of volunteers will help you resolve your issue. If you haven’t received a reply yet, have a little patience.
