Critical Error on Website After WordPress Core Update
-
Hi,
Yesterday, I installed the updates that appeared in my notifications, including the core WordPress files, and then logged out. Today, when I tried to log back into the dashboard, I received an error message saying, “Unable to access the WordPress dashboard.”
I attempted to log in multiple times, but after a while, another message appeared stating, “There has been a critical error on the website.”
Could you please look into this issue and let me know what might be causing the problem? I would really appreciate your help.
Thank you.

Hi Shawn
I faced the similar kind of problem in the past, with my website. I am sharing the solution which worked well in my case. Try to disable the plugins manually but make to disable 1 at a time. I hope you are a techie just like me, as it is quite risky to disable them!
BTW, you didn’t share the URL of the website!
Regards!

Hi Tobey
Thanks for the reply pal. Let me clarify first, I am not a techie & I don’t even understand the technical terms which you have said above. So I think I shall hire a professional to do this job, as I don’t even know what are plugins.
I am in a state of mental trauma, as I forgot to add the URL which is https://chatgptgratuit.fr/ . Not to mention, I am unable to contact my team who are working on this project!
I hope things will get better soon! Regards!

Hey Shawn
Thanks for the reply. I am from the UK, & I have a hobby of fixing things myself. The solution which I gave to you I applied it on the website https://www.executordelta.com.br/ which was down due to plugin error. I can understand that you are not a tech person, but the process is really simple. Let me explain again in simple words!
- Login to you hosting & access the wordpress directories.
- Disable the plugins folder one by one, then try to access the word press dashboard.
I hope by doing this process you can fix the error. You can take help of chatgpt, mate!
