critical error & recovery mode not initialized

    Hello, I need help. I did an update and my website crashed.

    Roberta Anzellini Art.

    I received the email however when I attempt to use it, it says recovery mode is not initialized.

    What do I do next?

    Howdy –

    I took a look and also see the critical error message. Unfortunately, the site isn’t hosted here with us at WordPress.com which means that my help is limited.

    It looks like your web host is https://whc.ca/en and they have a help link in the top of their menu on the right side of the page. There will be several options for help, but you want to pick the WordPress option to start.

    The site is using the open source WordPress software which is not the same as our managed hosting environment here at WordPress.com. I hope this helps, be well.
