Critical Error When Sending Emails

Hello folks,
I am having an issue where whenever my site tries to send an email I get the error: “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.” I first noticed that the form on my site would get an error when trying to submit. After some testing, I found that disabling email notifications would allow form submissions again. I tried a plugin to test sending an email to myself but this triggers the critical error. I am also not receiving the admin email that would help with debugging. I have tried the recommended steps such as disabling plugins and using an SMTP plugin, which also triggers the error. Any help with this issue would be appreciated!

This issue started to occur after migrating my self-hosted site to wordpress.com and pointing my GoDaddy domain to the new location.
