Critical Site Error: Jetpack Plugin
-
Hello,
I received email notice that a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on my site. I’m unable to access the administrator dashboard, and the email suggested that I reach out to the host for support.
Relevant information:
WordPress version 5.7.1
Current theme: Go (version 1.4.3)
Current plugin: Jetpack by WordPress.com (version 9.6.1)
PHP version 7.3.12 -
Hey there @reganralston17, it doesn’t sound like your site is hosted here with us, but this may help:
Since the error involves a plugin, these tips from WordPress.org may help:
https://wordpress.org/support/article/managing-plugins/#manual-uninstallationThen you would get in touch with the plugin provider. If it’s Jetpack giving trouble, you can reach out here or in that forum.
Going forward, you’ll want to use the correct support forums for self-managed WordPress sites:

You can use a site like Who Is Hosting This to see who is hosting your site.
If you’re still not sure after searching Who Is Hosting This, please provide us with the URL of the site you’re having trouble with and we can try to figure that out for you.
If you want to reach out to Jetpack support, you can contact them about this via https://jetpack.com/contact-support/?rel=support if you have a paid plan, or https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack/ if you do not.
I hope that helps!
