Cropped images on homepage of Cubic theme

  I’m using the Cubic theme and the image grid on the homepage is cropping all the images. You can see black bars on the top/bottom. Is there any way to make them fill the square?

  Hi there! Featured Images on Cubic are best sized at 2000px wide by 1500px high.

  You’re seeing the black bars due to some images being too small to meet the minimum for how the theme automatically adjusts/crops the images on the front page.

  For example, this image is 854x1280px: https://kateandsachin.files.wordpress.com/2016/03/img_6771.jpeg, so it’s smaller than the ideal size and resulting in the black bars. If you have a larger version of the photo, upload a replacement and the theme will adjust.
