cropping photos

    When updating my profile info on wordpress it asked me for a profile picture. When I clicked on update profile picture it took me to Gravatar where I uploaded a picture we commonly use for our profiles. It then asked me to crop the picture but would not give me the picture to crop. It gave me a rectangle about 1/8 inch vertically and 4 inches horizontally with a small box that would move around but would not expand or show me my image. I tried several times with different images and nothing changed.
