Crossed passwords
-
I have two wordpress blogs. One is more current than the other (I’m bad, I will update it soon). While I was travelling I had a great difficulty accessing my more current blog.
Somehow my password wasn’t accepted and I was asked to apply for a new password. I did and can’t remember it. Unfortunately, every time I log in to the reset password function it goes to my first blog, not my second. So I’m locked out or blocked from accessing my current blog. What can I do? How can I gain control over it again so I can enter, monitor it, update it? The subject matter is very important to me.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The email address your provide when registering a username account becomes your unique identifier. Do you have two username accounts ie. each one with a single blog registered to it. Or do you have only one username with 2 blogs registered to it?

http://en.support.wordpress.com/email-address/#issues-changing-your-e-mail-addressThe “My Blog” page provides a list of all your blogs registered to an individual username. That My Blogs page is found by clicking on “Blogs” link in the top gray navigation bar. Id the blog in question appearing there?

@timethief … I have almost a similar problem. My original email associated with one of my original wordpress accounts was deleted and no longer active. What to do?
blogsite4U.wordpress.com I cannot get into that account to combine it with my exixting blog account. Same user name on both. Old email was only associated to blogsite4u. So when I try to get into that account, I can’t get there. -
