  Hey,

  So is there a way I can raise money for my wordpress.com blog through my readers. Say, I put a donation bar that WordPress.com gives me and my readers donate and once the donation hits 99 bucks then WordPress.com upgrades me to their pro plan.

  Is there such a service/Widget/etc.?

  It will be very helpful because then site donations will be very honest and also wordpress.com will be making money to keep the fantastic services up!

  You can use the Paypal donate button, as explained in the Support document. http://support.wordpress.com/
