Crunching photos

  When I try to add new photos to my library they get “crunched”. What is happening there?

  Images being uploaded are reduced in resolution by 10%, although you may not even feel the difference. It’s always best to optimize images before you upload them. See here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/media/image-optimization/
