I would like to remove space between the header and post title of my blog but I’m not familiar with CSS.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I solved the first question because someone else asked a similar question about the same part of the template. I have the same issue now in several other parts of the template – on this page
http://kathiemacphee.wordpress.com/2014/10/page/2/.a. I’d like to take the wide space out around this text – Monthly Archives: October 2014
b. Also at the bottom around the older and newer buttons and the theme logo.
c. and I’d like to take a little space from underneath the widget dropdown menu.
2. I decided to have only one post per page – just an experiment. I think it improves reading quality. However I’d prefer to have excerpts on the Archives page – it’s cumbersome to have to click through for every post. Is there any way to have a number of excerpts on one page in the archives?
I’m really happy with this theme – it’s very fresh and clean, and wonderful for photos.
Thanks in advance for your help.

.page-header { padding: 30px 0 5px; }Also at the bottom around the older and newer buttons and the theme logo.
Give this a try:
.site-content .navigation-paging, .site-content .navigation-post { padding-bottom: 20px; padding-top: 20px; } #colophon { margin-top: -30px; }and I'd like to take a little space from underneath the widget dropdown menu.header#masthead { margin-top: -20px; }I decided to have only one post per page – just an experiment. The archive pages will automatically follow the same setup as the main home page. So, if you have used the “More” tag to truncate your content on the home page, it will also be truncated on Archive pages. If you’ve elected to display full post content, it will show full post content. There isn’t a great way to setup an archive page with excerpts but display your full post elsewhere.
One way of potentially doing this would be to use the Display Post Shortcode to manually create your archive pages:
However, this likely wouldn’t look as great as the ones automatically created by Ryu.
