I would like that the design of my principal page could have the same format I appreciated at my first sight and when I’ve chosen the template; but this isn’t easy to me and/or possible in the last template (SELA), eather the actual (GATEWAY). It comes from a default format or something like that, and I don’t know how to design it so it appears like the one in the template.
Kind Regards,
Ayleen C.

Hi Ayleen,
The first step to replicating Gateway’s demo site is to set up a static front page.
We have steps for doing that, including a handy video walk through, here:
After you have set up a static front page, you will need to assign the Home Page template to it.
To assign a page template: Navigate to the editor for your page and then choose from the Template dropdown under the Page Options module:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-options/
You can then navigate to the Theme Options > Homepage Template panel of the WordPress.com Customizer to make changes to the template.
Let me know how you get on with that!
We’re right here if questions come up along the way.
