  I have wrote this code so that I can display a image on my front page only, however I now need help with writing a code that will fix the sizing. Because the image is to large and I can only see half of it.

  Hi @artofthoughtweb, it looks like you are using WordPress but you are not hosted here at WordPress.com. For self-hosted WordPress sites such as yours, I would suggest asking for help from the theme and/or plugin author directly or ask in the volunteer-based WordPress.org forums.
