Hi! I have a website that was built a few years ago. It is build with a child theme based on twentyten, and the child theme has its own CSS. I haven’t worked much with the website just adding posts and editing texts here and there for while… but today I needed to update a few bits. I realise that the links specifications that I did for the website are not being followed and I am struggling to understand why?
Hope you ca help me! The website is Tjorneklav.se

Just to follow up on my initial query and after prowling the internet for information… do you have to “enqueue” your stylesheet? And do you have to have a child theme functions.php too? If so, how do I go about creating this now that the website is up and running?

    Hi storatjornekalv,

Your website is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress software found on WordPress.org.

To clear up any confusion, there are 2 versions of WordPress. WordPress.com is a managed environment different from using the open source WordPress installation.

WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two, different entities: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

You could look in WordPress.org forum; perhaps someone there has experienced something similar.

You’ll need a free WordPress.org account to post – if you don’t already have one, you can register here.

You can also check the documentation on how to create child themes.
