CSS animation not translating to site

  I was playing with some code for animation the background of one of my pages. It seemed to work in the demo area of the customizer, but when I viewed my actual site, the animation was static. Does anyone know what might be going on?

  I’m using the Afterlight theme, if that”s any help.
