CSS back to WP Theme?

  • Unknown's avatar

I want to try out a CSS I bought, which would replace the current default CSS altogether. If I can’t make it work, is it easy enough to go back to the dashboard and activate one of the available WP themes? Thank you?

You can always strip out the CSS from the editor and return to a standard theme. If you have an entire stylesheet, make sure you have the ‘Start from scratch’ box checked.

And, ‘a CSS you bought’? For, like, money? I think you’ve been had.

Thanks. I probably misspoke. The stylesheet is part of a PHP Revolution template that was bought (by someone else I’mtrying to help, not by me). I have a feeling it’s meant to be uploaded to a hosting co. that supports WordPress themes, as opposed to being used on WordPress itself.

Well, if you’re not sure it will work (and it sounds as if it may not), try using the free preview feature in the CSS editor before paying out for the upgrade.

Revolution is a premium theme and, indeed, it is only for self-hosted blogs.
