CSS Changes to Dark Wood
-
Hey Guys
Sorry if this has been asked before, i’ve tried a search but with no joy.
My CSS knowledge is very limited so i may be doing something really stupid,
I have wordpress hosted domain mapped blog that i wanted to put a new theme in place, i really like the Dark Wood layout, and i can change the background (which i wish more themes gave you options for)
I don’t like the little flower “buttons” on each post though. I thought that i could simply change the flower .png for one of my choice without it being to difficult
so i paid for css edit, copied the original css into text, located the flower png and uploaded and added a link to my new png, pasted back in and save.
when i then view the site, the new png is in place…perfect….however
all the rest of the style is messed up, all the semi-transparent backgrounds have disappeared, i have deleted all my css and it goes back to normal…
any advice greatly appreciated
Cheers

No problem. I’m posting a link to a relevant post on this topic into this thread so that when it’s found in the searchbox it will be there to help another blogger out http://csswiz.wordpress.com/2009/10/15/if-you-have-the-wp-com-css-upgrade/
