"CSS Classes (optional)" not showing in wordpress menu
-
Hi there, I have a website but I am having problems. When I go to Appearance –> Menus, I cannot see CSS Classes, even after enabling it under screen options:
It is checked and enabled specifically for products (which is what i need to use it for). However when I scroll down the “CSS Classes (optional)” field is not visible at all, anywhere. What is going wrong?
I have wordpress 5.2, I updated every plugin just today. This issue was occurring both before and after I updated.
any help or feedback would be appreciated.
thank you.

even after i enabled CSS Classes under Screen Options, I don’t see it at all under any of the Menu Items listed:
why is this?
I’m using the default Twenty Sixteen theme, and updated it just today, problem is still persisting. i really need to be able to change my menu.
