CSS code for commenting in Elemin
-
Is it possible to add disqus for commenting? If not, can I move
the ‘leave a comment’ from the left hand side to the bottom of the post, where
people will see it better? If you can share the CSS code for any of this, I’d really appreciate it.
Thanks!
Dave

No, you cannot add Disqus on WP.com
Yes, you can move the commenting text IF you know how to edit CSS and have bought the upgrade. Do not buy the upgrade if you do not already know how to edit CSS.

Thanks. I’ve already bought the upgrade and have added a lot of CSS code. People at WordPress and in the forum have shared code with me, so I haven’t had to learn it on my own.

Hello there,I’ve already bought the upgrade and have added a lot of CSS code.
Which blog exactly are you referring to? The blog linked to your username is devoid of any blogger created content ie. empty and displays no evidence of CSS editing at all. Please post an active link starting with http:// to the blog you have been CSS editing.
Also be mindful of what raincoaster correctly stated. Disqus commenting systems cannot be embedded into free hosted WordPress.com blogs – period. That’s true whether or not they have a premium theme because we cannot edit either themes or templates.
The custom design upgrade and CSS editing cannot be used to embed Disqus commenting systems or anything else into a free hosted WordPress.com blog. There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we cannot intsall individual plugs inot them. Those found on the internet are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.

OK, thanks. How about using CSS to move the ‘leave a comment’ from the left hand side to the bottom of each post? I think that’s a better place for it.
Sorry about the confusion around the blog I’m referring to. This is it:www.allthingsattainable.com

Moving the comment link to the bottom is virtually impossible due to the way the theme designers have used position: absolute; on the meta data to the left of the post.
Sometimes they put you in a box, lock it and throw away the key.
