CSS code to change?
-
Hi,
I decided to have atext-indent:for my paragraphs, which is working fine but now my links to other sites in the sidebar is also indented and does not look so good. I have searched the template and tried to put intext-indent: 0pxeverywhere it seemed likely but have not figured it out. -
Hi there, can you explain exactly what you are wanting to accomplish and I would be more than happy to help out.
I took a look at the source code on your main page, and see
<span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:small;"><span style="font-style:normal;">
and that leads me to ask if you are pasting in from a word processing program, such as MS Word? -
Thanks for the reply. I don’t use MS Word and any additions I have made to the theme I have done directly, typing into the Editor template.
What I was trying to correct was the listing of addresses to other sites, this listing being on the right side of my home page, below the blog entries. It might be that the sidebar is too narrow, but the URL’s wrap but the next line too far to the left instead of being lined up with the top line where the bullet starts the line. I would send a picture to you if I could but don’t see any way to do that on this forum. Is the code you put in above what controls that look? -
I’m looking at http://drpitcairn.wordpress.com/ and don’t see an issue in the right sidebar. Are you talking about a different site? I see the blogroll widget at the top and everything is aligned properly.
If you are talking about a different site, can I have a link to that site please?
-
The latest post on the site I mention is in 2010, so I would have to assume you are talking about a different site.

Oh, very sorry. I thought I had logged into a forum for WordPress.com and just assumed….
My site is Dr. Pitcairn site. -
This is the WordPress.COM support forum where we provide support only for blogs hosted by WordPress.COM and that’s not one of them. You are posting to the wrong support forum and we cannot help you here.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.

Hi @drpitcairn, it looks like you are using WordPress but you are not hosted here at WordPress.com. For self-hosted WordPress sites such as yours, I would suggest asking for help in the WordPress.org Twenty Ten support forum, or ask in the volunteer-based WordPress.org Themes and Templates forum.
For general questions on self-hosted WordPress.org installations, visit http://wordpress.org/support/.

I’ve checked your site and it looks like you have gotten this issue straightened out.
